"Wooo!!"
–Ali
It’s no coincidence Ali’s last name is a homophone for “laugher.” This client relations expert believes having fun is an essential part of the job.
As an account executive at Estipona Group, Ali’s job is to connect with clients and build beneficial relationships based on trust and understanding. To excel at that job, Ali has learned the value of strong communication, creativity and a good sense of humor. She has found that understanding client personalities and putting clients at ease is both good for the process and for the results, as it helps both parties share needs and concerns more openly.
Ali’s background in live entertainment promotion helped her develop her creative approach to problem-solving. During the COVID pandemic shutdowns, the entertainment industry was in crisis and she was able to partner with clients in a very intimate way. As a trusted member of client teams, Ali was able to try innovative and untried approaches to solve their unprecedented business challenges. And being a trusted advisor is the aspect of her job that she finds most rewarding.
Ali’s natural strengths in communication, multi-tasking and operations were honed while earning her Bachelor of Arts in Arts Management at Emerson College in Boston. Producing theatrical shows is a surprisingly good prelude to account management, where Ali connects the goals of one group with the talents of another.
Born and raised in Thousand Oaks, California, Ali spent the first years of her career in Los Angeles, so when she was ready to leave California, she was thoughtful about the work environment she wanted. In Estipona Group, Ali found a company that aligns with her work ethos to keep it fun (in fact, it’s one of our 9 values!) and her work ethic to do what it takes to support her clients.
In 2024, Ali, her partner, Laith, and their rescue Schnoodle, Oso, made Reno their home. In her free time, you can find her and Latih in the kitchen — homemade bagels and pasta are among their specialties. For someone who finds fun a foundational part of work, it may come as no surprise that Ali also loves playing games — both video and board. But be warned, she’s got a serious competitive streak.
