Greg Vannoy

Greg Vannoy’s “aha” moment struck when he hand-drew his first flip book at the age of 8. As he watched his motorcycle speed across that 4x6 notepad, hit an Evel Knievel jump and crash in a glorious explosion of metal and fire, Greg’s fascination with motion and visual storytelling was born. By age 12, he was shooting and editing his own films with a Super 8mm camera "borrowed" from his uncle.

Greg’s early passion for moving images has translated into a decades-long career in graphic design, animation and video production. After many years running his one-man studio, 9mm Media, he joined Estipona Group as the agency’s first ever Motion Director.

At Estipona Group, Greg manages video production, editing, animation and audio production to help creative ideas move forward (or in reverse, sideways or inside out, if needed). With decades of experience and a deep skillset, Greg effectively meets diverse client goals, from elegant logo animations to laugh-out-loud live-action videos.

Greg loves his craft. There is nothing he'd rather be doing than telling stories through motion, which means he spends his free time on a never-ending slew of personal and side projects. From a YouTube cooking show hosted by his wife to an NSFW card game, Greg is driven by the rush of seeing his visions come to life.

When he isn’t creating in-motion magic on the screen, Greg and his wife, Rochelle, enjoy hiking, biking and traveling—all of which lend well to his aforementioned heap of personal projects.
